General: Walcott(as he prefers to be called!) really only wants two things in life: 1.) Complete freedom of expression how he chooses, whether that means success or not, and 2.) FRIENDS. Or just to have some people to be close with. The problems with these are 1.) He is now currently flat broke with a cat to support and 2.) he lacks social skills in just about every aspect, other than an extreme empathy. Other than that, he is terrified of large groups of people, has low confidence and terrible OCD. How does this sad, sad man deal with these problems? He's a crazy good performer, and when he's on stage or showing people what he can do, he completely forgets all of his problems and is the most outgoing, confident person you have ever met! Other than that, he's kind of a dork. :C

History


Walcott was born to ex-Motown stars in Detroit who had terrible problems with spending their money infrequently. They constantly went from Middle-High class to below the poverty line, and therefore moved all over the city. While Walcott grew to love Detroit and all it stood for, he was constantly bullied and harassed due to his weak appearance and stupid first name, which he goes great lengths not to be called. Due to their moving often, he never felt violent towards his attackers, as he never knew them for long. Eventually they just started to represent one terrifying "Mass" that seemed to be around every corner, and for that reason the idea of being surrounded by strangers terrifies him. He can do fine with small groups, but anything larger than about 15 people make him super weary. For this reason, he never did too well in school, and couldn't get into college after high school. He worked a few jobs here and there, but since he could read, his passion was always music. 

When he finally made a spot for himself in the music scene, he created a lot of solo work in studios and had a small following. A little later in his career, he produced a joke single that covered a popular pop song (he would never tell, it's far too embarassing) in a neo-jazz style, and it exploded. He was known for that single song, and, while he didn't care much for fame, he was hunted by a producing company that wanted to sign him on! He took it as a possibility to expand his horizons! Sadly though, he was cheated immensely, and the large sum of money he made from his stupid cover was all taken from him, as well as more than he could owe. Flat broke and stuck in LA all alone, he applied for a job for a music store, hoping to at least provide for his cat. Miraculously, he not only got the job, but was offered the position of store manager, which he confusingly accepted. He doesn't really know why he was chosen, but he wants to do the best job he can!! But...that also means people skills...
